Rental terms
What is included, what the deposit covers and what is not allowed.
These terms apply to every car in the fleet. The specific deposit and minimum driver age for a car are shown on that car’s page.
Included in every rate

Driver requirements
The minimum age is shown on each car and ranges from 21 to 25. The driver must have held a licence for at least two years. A national licence in Latin script is accepted for stays of up to one year; otherwise an International Driving Permit is required alongside it.
Deposit
The deposit is taken at handover by credit card or in cash, and released within five working days of return, provided the car comes back in the condition it left in and without unpaid traffic fines.
Fuel
Cars are handed over with a full tank and should be returned full. If that is not practical, we refuel and charge the fuel at the pump price plus a flat service fee.
Taking the car to Georgia
Georgia and Armenia are both outside the Green Card insurance system, so a Green Card is neither valid nor required for this trip — you will not need one and nobody at the border will ask for one. What you do need is a notarised letter authorising you to drive the car across the border, plus Georgia’s own compulsory third-party insurance for the days you’re there. We prepare both for a flat 27,000֏, arranged on request at least 48 hours before pick-up. Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran are outside the scope of any rental — the car may not cross those borders under any circumstance.
What is not allowed
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, which voids all insurance
- Taking the car outside Armenia without the written permit above
- Motorsport, driving instruction, towing, and transporting goods for hire
- Smoking inside the car
Cancellation
Free of charge at any time before handover, because nothing has been charged.
